PS Marion – Mannum

The Paddle Steamer Marion – a fully restored heritage vessel built in 1887, is an integral part of the Mannum visitor experience. She was recommissioned in late 1994 following restoration by a dedicated team of volunteers who contributed many thousands of hours.
Being one of the last steam-driven, wood-fired, passenger-carrying side paddle steamers in the world, she stands as a testament to the enthusiasm and dedication of the volunteers, both past and present, who maintain and crew her to this day.
