Come along to the Hotel Metro to celebrate The Flying Squads first official release "Confessions of a Street Clown".

The Flying Squad are an Adelaide born and bred band with a slick live show that will take you on a lyrical journey. The songs tell wild tales that may or may not be true, heart on sleeve truths, and general soul searching.

The Flying Squads music is described as “Hovercraft Blues” with elements of Americana, Country, Rockabilly, Roots Rock and a strong dash of classic Australian alternative rock. Their influences are varied but if you think a mixture of Paul Kelly and The Messengers, Johnny Cash, The Cruel Sea, Creedence and Grinderman you’re somewhere in the ballpark.

“Confessions of a Street Clown” is an online only release for now featuring "Confessions of a Street Clown" and "Missing Parts" to show both the salty and sweet that The Flying Squad excel at.

The Flying Squad are supported on the night by Baby Mo, followed by Johnny Seagull and The Hot Chips. Free entry, music starts at 9pm.
