It’s important that all Umbrella Festival attendees feel safe and welcome throughout the festival. With that in mind, we’ve collated a list of some of our LGBTQIA+ friendly and focused Umbrella events below.
For the first time, the Umbrella Festival Opening Night event will be held across four Adelaide City venues with four FREE events showcasing Adelaide’s top talent – curated by local legends of the SA scene. Venue #4 is live music’s party time venue, JIVE Nightclub, curated by 2021 festival favourites Best Of Friends.
The first annual Queer Club Festival is here! Highlighting some of the most sickening queer music acts from our own backyard. Pretty Good Thanks are celebrating the LGBTQIA+ community and welcoming everyone to come as they are and embrace the rainbow. Bring your Cheer, Uniqueness, Niceness and Taste for a night like no other.

In The Clouds is back with a line-up featuring The Mondays, Molly Rocket and Sour Sob. Step into a transformed Chateau Apollo, decorated with clouds and other winter themed decorations. Best of Friends are dedicated to ensuring the event is an inclusive and accessible safe space for all to enjoy.

All girl 4-piece Luci will soundtrack a night of big tunes and big hits with Adelaide Roller Derby! See the original teams The Salties and the Mile Die Club face off on track while Luci get rowdy trackside before the game and at half time. Plus bar, market stalls and merch!
