Donum mirabile
In this collaboration with Adelaide Cantata Band, Antonio Vivaldi’s lively Magnificat sets the scene in all its Baroque intricacy and splendour. Trace these influences in the ornate polyphony of motets by Anton Bruckner, as we celebrate the 200th year of his birth.
Featuring a South Australian premiere (Ecce nunc by Agata della Pietà, reconstructed by Elizabeth Anderson) and a Magnificat by South Australian composer Anna Zweck.
